CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE
************************** The Sault Ste. Marie Police Fraud Unit has arrested and charged Yvonne Pountney, age 58 years, of Simon Street in Sault Ste. Marie with one count of fraud exceeding $5000. It is alleged that Mrs. Pountney defrauded Savoy's Jewellers of approximately $302,000 while employed there as bookkeeper for 19 years.
She will appear in court on 04 October 2004.
