Boil water advisory lifted

SAULT STE. MARIE - Under the direction of Algoma Public Health the boil water advisory issued for the following area has been lifted (see map):

  • Trunk Road and south to the river
  • Gibbs Street, Kerr Drive and Parkshore Drive east to Tamarack Avenue

Water samples taken have met the Ontario Drinking Water Quality Standards (Ontario Regulation 169/03). 

You may resume normal use of the water.

The PUC is currently in the process of hand delivering notices to residents within the affected area notifying them that the boil water advisory has been lifted.
