********************** OPP divers recover body near Chapleau

(Chapleau, Ontario) – Superior East OPP received a report on June 17 that a person went missing overnight from a fishing trip.

A land search of the area by Emergency Response Team and the OPP Canine unit had failed to locate the person.

Divers from the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit of the OPP recovered the body of 42-year-old Robert Philippe of Val Caron, Ontario from Heenan Lake situated 70 kilometres east of Chapleau.

Mr. Philippe had been on a fishing trip with his father and went missing overnight on June 16.
