The Sault Cycling Club has prepared daily challenges for people who want to participate in next week’s Bike to Work Week.

The club is inviting workers and their colleagues to participate in individual challenges for a chance to win prizes.

The week will kick off on May 16 and will end on May 22. The official Bike to Work day is on May 20.

Among the challenges individuals can participate in are taking a different route home, posting a cycling selfie and adding a hill to the ride, among others.

The challenges all include emailing a track or posting a picture online with the hashtag #SCCBikeToWorkWeek to qualify for prizes.

The club also suggests challenges workplaces can participate in, such as encouraging staff and customers to ride their bikes to work during the week.

Another workplace challenge is to send a picture of their bike parking area and explain why their employer is the most cycling-friendly workplace.

All entries must be submitted by May 23 at 11:59 pm to be considered.
