Striking Soo members of OPSEU will be joined by fellow trade unionists at noon Tuesday at the Roberta Bondar Building on Bay Street.

The large demonstration will be one of at least 22 taking place across the province as part of a 'Day of Solidarity' organized by the Ontario Federation of Labour.

Other communities in which similar gatherings are planned include Timmins, North Bay, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Kenora and Dryden.
