After a long day of knocking on doors in the Saturday sun, Ross Romano took his core campaign team tonight to the Sixth Annual Festival of Beer at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre.

Conservative candidate in the upcoming provincial byelection in Sault Ste. Marie, Romano and his crew are shown trying out the just-launched Northern Extra Light from Northern Superior Brewing Co.

Gold medal-winning Paralympian Mac Marcoux and Romano's wife Heather Mendes are shown with the candidate in the centre of this photograph.

The popular event concludes with a Saturday concert starting at 9 p.m. with Juno-nominated indie rockers The Wooden Sky from Toronto.
