The beach at Pancake Bay Provincial Park is closed for the time being.
A sample taken on July 6 returned high levels of bacteria, which led to the closure.
In a post on social media, park officials say that staff continues to monitor the levels and will advise when the beach is reopened.

Beaches are posted as unsafe for swimming due to elevated bacterial counts. Park staff are monitoring conditions closely. Beach postings will be removed when test results show bacterial levels are acceptable
