Thank you Sault Ste. Marie! Big Brothers Big Sisters rake-a-thon fundraiser scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016 is now full due to the positive overwhelming response and support from our community. Big Brothers Big Sisters is working to accommodate our waitlist with the addition of future dates. 

If you are a high school, college, university student, athlete or community-minded individual – this is the perfect fundraiser for you to get involved and give back to an agency that provides the opportunity for youth mentorship.

Again, we would like to thank all of the current volunteers, households who signed up, as well as our sponsors, Lowe’s, Lyon’s Timber Mart and Soo Mill who made this fundraiser possible.

The donation of biodegradable leaf bags from our sponsors will allow for 100 per cent of the proceeds raised to remain local and benefit participants of the diverse programs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sault Ste. Marie offers our youth.   

As a not for profit organization serving youth in our community Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sault Ste. Marie is committed to the healthy development of children and youth through valuable mentoring programs vital in fostering their full potential.

The organization’s vision of a community with enriched and happy children where every child who needs a mentor has a mentor, is only possible through fund raising events and the support of community members.
