On August 27, 2014, city police responded to the Canadian Tire store on Great Northern Road.
It is alleged that a male tried to steal items from the business.
He was observed by store security who called the police.
The man took off running and after a short foot pursuit was arrested by the police.
He was found to be on three separate probation orders.
The man was also wanted from another theft incident on August 13, 2014.
Jody Edwards is charged with 2 counts of theft under $5,000 and breach of probation x 7.
He will be appearing in bail court on August 28, 2014 at 10 a.m.
