Tonight and into tomorrow morning, folks north of the Sault may see some damaging frost here and there.

Environment Canada is calling for patchy frost across Northern Ontario, including Agawa - Lake Superior Park, Wawa - Pukaskwa Park and White River - Dubreuilville.

Cover up those plants and frost-sensitive trees, especially in those frost-prone areas as temperatures are forecast to drop near to the freezing mark overnight then rise above zero by early Tuesday morning.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
