APH reports 40 new cases of COVID-19

There are currently 264 active cases across the Algoma district

Algoma Public health is reporting 40 new cases of COVID-19 in the region – 31 in Sault Ste. Marie and area, five in Central and East Algoma, two in Elliot Lake and area, and two in North Algoma.

Of these cases, nine were exposed through close contact with a known case, 15 fall under the 'unknown' category, and 16 are under investigation.

There are currently 264 active cases across the Algoma district, including three hospitalizations.
