APH reports 15 new cases of COVID-19

There are 246 active cases and 10 hospitalizations in the Algoma Public Health region

Alogma Public Health has reported 15 new cases of COVID-19 today.

Of those new cases, 12 were in the Sault Ste. Marie area and three were in Central and East Algoma.

10 of these new cases have been traced to close contact with a known case of COVID-19, and fiver are currently under investigation.

This brings the total number of cases in the APH region since the beginning of the pandemic to 1326.

There are 246 active cases and 10 hospitalizations in the Algoma Public Health region.

Regions in APH that have reported cases in the last 14 days are:

  • Sault Ste. Marie and area
  • Central and East Algoma
  • Elliot Lake and area
