APH reporting Algoma's 23rd COVID-related death

Algoma Public Health is reporting Algoma's 23rd death related to COVID-19.

As with others, details on the death are not released by APH.

APH is reporting one additional hospitalization in the region as part of Saturday's report, bringing the number of people in Algoma hospitalized to 18. There is also one additional hospitalization that is an individual not from Algoma but temporarily in the region.

The latest numbers from APH show an increase of 66 cases over Friday's report and the number of active cases is up by 12 to 588.

There are also four additional active cases that are individuals not from the region but temporarily in Algoma.

The number of resolved cases in Algoma went up to 2,726, up by 54 from Friday while the number of tests completed increased by 266 to 224,089.
