APH confirms 24 new COVID cases in the region

There are 571 known active cases across Algoma, health unit reports

Algoma Public Health (APH) is reporting 24 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today – 20 in Sault Ste. Marie and Area, two in central and east Algoma, and two in the Elliot Lake area.

According to a notice issued by APH, there are 571 known active cases across the region, including four hospitalizations.

APH states that 441 individuals have been tested for COVID-19 since yesterday's report.
