Sault and area is in for another very hot and humid few days this weekend.
Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Sault Ste. Marie - St. Joseph Island.
Environment Canada predicts daytime high temperatures near 29C, with humidex values near 36C. Overnight, lows will range from 16C-20C.
North of the Sault will face very hot temperatures too.
Forecast of extreme heat has prompted a warning from Environment Canada for Wawa - Pukaskwa Park, where daytime highs will reach near 29C, with overnight lows of 16C-20C.
Areas near Lake Superior will feel slightly cooler temperatures.
Environment Canada reminds the public that extreme heat effects everyone, and the risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
