Congratulations to Kaytee Iachetta, the winner of this year's Korah PTA Super Bowl Raffle.
Iachetta has been buying five tickets every year for the raffle. She's a big football fan and comes from a football family.
Her father Mac Headrick was a former Sault Steeler and he announces some of the local high school football games. Her husband Mike played for the Sault Sabercats.
Kaytee Iachetta is a big Green Bay Packers fan, which means she's a disappointed fan after the Packers loss last weekend.
It's also disappointing that COVID travel restrictions and complications means she's unsure if she'll be making the trip to California for the big game.
Regardless, Iachetta is happy to support a good cause. "It goes to the school," she says when explaining her dedication to the raffle.
She said attending the game in Inglewood Calif. would have been quite the scene if the L.A. Rams made it to the final game. It would be like a home game and the atmosphere would be electric.
Iachetta's ticket was pulled during Friday's draw.
Korah principal Steve Caruso said the draw was a great success after a year's hiatus due to COVID. It was the 12th annual draw put on by the school to raise money for student activities.
"We were a bit worried," said Caruso because the COVID situation. "However it went great."
The draw raised $19,600 this year.
In total, over the 12 years of the Super Bowl Raffle, the school raised almost $270,000.
"The Korah family would like to thank the community for their continuous generous support of this annual fundraiser. Congratulations to Kaytee," said Caruso. "Thank you to the Korah PTA for all of their hard work and dedication to the school."
Included in the draw are:
