All about Dean Hughes' new truck

Dean Hughes no longer has to fix his ratty old truck.

The Saultite is getting a brand new Dodge Ram pick-up after his ticket was chosen as the grand prize-winner from among 26,000 others in a national draw.

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Dec. 19 - TIM-BR Mart (Ontario) is pleased to announce that Dean Hughes, of Sault Ste. Marie, is the grand prizewinner in the Great Canadian Fall Fix-Up Event.

He has won a new 2003 Dodge Ram pick-up truck.

Dean entered the contest at Lyons TIM-BR Mart, Sault Ste. Marie, and at the time joked "there was no way he would ever win".

His winning entry was drawn from over 26,000 ballots.

When contacted and told he had won, Dean was trying to fix up his older, "beat-up" truck.

Dean said: "The last new truck I had was a 1987 Dodge Dakota." "TIM-BR Mart has made my day, month, year!" exclaimed Dean. "I've never won anything before!"
