A tentative agreement was reached today between the Algoma District School Board and its secondary teachers.

The following announcement was made jointly tonight by Ray DeRosario of the school board and David Orazietti (shown) of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation:

***************************************************************** Algoma District School Board and OSST - Secondary Teachers reach tentative deal

April 22, 2003: The Algoma District School Board and its Secondary Teachers represented by OSSTF have reached a tentative two-year agreement for the 200212003 and 2003/2004 school years.

Details of the agreement remain confidential to the parties pending ratification by both parties within the next two weeks.
