Algoma University will be reopening campus and resuming in-person learning on Feb. 7.

A memo sent to students, staff, and faculty from Algoma president and vice-chancellor Asima Vezina on Friday confirmed the news.

The letter noted that the decision was made with consultation and guidance from the Ministry of Colleges and Universities, the Council of Universities, and the Chief Medical Officer of Health.

Vezina also said that further details from Algoma's COVID Task Force and the Office of the Dean will be provided next week "to provide additional information to support the transition back to campus."
