Algoma man charged with manslaughter

An Elliot Lake man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death yesterday of Kenneth Doskas, 33. David Anderson, 45, is in police custody and will appear in court in Sault Ste. Marie on Friday.

An Elliot Lake man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death yesterday of Kenneth Doskas, 33.

David Anderson, 45, is in police custody and will appear in court in Sault Ste. Marie on Friday.

Police say Doskas, who's also from Elliot Lake, was injured Saturday in an altercation with another man at a private residence.

He was taken to hospital where he died yesterday.

The investigation is continuing under the direction of Detective Inspector Bob Lemieux of the OPP's Criminal Investigation Branch in Orillia.
