NEWS RELEASE
SERPENT RIVER FIRST NATION
*************************
It is with great pleasure that we at Serpent River First Nation and the Serpent River First Nation Economic Development Corporation are announcing to you today that Agawa Crafts and the Canadian Carver will be open for business starting Jun 8, 2020, at 9 a.m. We have been able to secure several returning staff who have worked with the Demers and Agawa Crafts and the Canadian Carver in the past to allow for a smooth transition as we enter into the heart of this new venture for the SRFN Economic Development Corporation.

As we start the season, please bear with us as new orders are slowly being received from our suppliers. We will be continuing with Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests licensing, the LCBO Agency Store and, of course, the legendary service you have all come to know over the last 50 years.

At this time, we would also like to introduce Sandie Phillips as the Manager of Agawa Crafts and the Canadian Carver. Sandie has worked with the Demers and Agawa Crafts for over 10 years and will ensure that your shopping and visiting experience is as legendary as it always has been.

This year has been challenging for many businesses around the world. We kindly ask that our customers follow all protocols that are being put in place to ensure the safety of not only other customers but also our very hard-working staff. Hand sanitizer will be made available and we ask that, if you have a face mask, please wear it while visiting our stores.

If you have any questions regarding the Agawa Crafts and the Canadian Carver or the Serpent River First Nation Economic Development Corporation in general, please visit - our doors are always open. We will be happy to share our ideas with anyone who would like more information and we are happy to hear your comments and ideas for the business. We can be reached by phone at 705-844-2119 or by emailing Miles Reid at [email protected].
