As reported earlier by SooToday.com, sixty-seven artists representing 15 nations were part of the first ever 46th Parallel art festival that took place June 28 and 29 at the Grand Theatre.
"We've had over 30 people do a 3D workshop and 400 people walk through the space and be engaged by the artists from around the world," said Alexander Wood, organizer of 46th Parallel. "The project has been a complete success in terms of engaging local artists, trying to motivate them and do more creative work in the city."
An original record that will feature six local artists and art from artists in Sault Ste. Marie will be produced from the event.
