Quattro and GFL are teaming up to give back to the community.
With support from the Sault’s GFL Environmental Inc. office, 400 turkey meals will be prepared and packed by the Quattro Vinotecca team and delivered Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) to the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen Community Centre.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meals will be individually packaged prior to distribution.
The meals will be available for pickup Christmas Eve at the Soup Kitchen, said Chris Dovigi, GFL Environmental regional manager, speaking to SooToday.
“2020 has been a challenging time and both organizations wanted to contribute in a meaningful way and brighten up the holidays for those who find themselves in need of assistance,” Dovigi said.
“Quattro and GFL have always been thankful for the support of the Sault Ste. Marie community and want to show that appreciation by assisting those who need it the most this holiday season. We are hoping to make this Christmas a little brighter for families in need. We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to give back to our great city that has continued to support us throughout the years. Our involvement in the communities that we live and work in has been a priority since our inception, and giving back in the midst of a pandemic is a testament to our commitment,” Dovigi said.
