NORTHERN ONTARIO COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION

The NOCMA will hold a Great Northern Opry show and dance on Sunday, Apr. 30, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Quattro Hotel and Conference Centre will host as current Great Northern Opry members, along with special Opry guests from all over Northern Ontario are scheduled to perform.

The show will also celebrate three new inductees from the Algoma district. Ken Stafford, Bob McDonald as well as George Sherrard will be inducted during the Northern Ontario Country Music Awards Weekend in November along with nine other inductees from districts across Northern Ontario.
 
The Northern Ontario Country Music Association started in 1989, and now boasts of 115 Great Northern Opry Inductees and 47 Northern Ontario Country Music Hall of Fame Inductees.
 
The Northern Ontario Country Music Hall of Fame will be on display during the event. It features portraits and memorabilia of NOCMA history and members. Tickets are $20 and available at the Quattro front desk or by contacting Dave Patterson at 705-257-9650.
