Your chance to audition for 'Chicago'

Shot in the Dark is proud to announce auditions for its upcoming spring musical, Chicago.

A record-breaking, long-running Broadway hit Chicago has been adapted into an Oscar-winning film and inspired countless films, plays, art, fashion and musicals over the years.

Shot in the Dark is looking to capture the energy and magic of the original production and bring something new to the table. As a result, all ages, looks, backgrounds and experience levels will be considered.

Auditions will be held at The Tech on Friday, Jan. 5 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 6 at 2 p.m

Please prepare 16 bars of a song and be ready to do some theatre games and dance work. Also please prepare a short joke to deliver. Chicago is a dark comedy and we are looking for actors who can stand and deliver with confidence.

Whether this is your first show or you are a seasoned veteran of the stage, this production of Chicago will make room for everyone. Non-traditional casting will be considered.

The production will run at The Tech from Apr. 18-21, 2018.
