FRIDAY, MARCH 17

  • Crossroad plays a St. Patrick's Day bash at Outspoken Brewing from 4 to 7 p.m.
  • The Fishbowl Festival presents Chase Wigmore and HAILS at The Art Hub at Spring (504 Queen St. E.) starting at 7 p.m.
  • The Soo Greyhounds face off against the Windsor Spitfires at the GFL Memorial Gardens at 7:07 p.m.
  • Webb Surround performs at Gateway Casinos SSM from 8 to 11 p.m.
  • Tym Morrison plays at Tazzi's Cafe starting at 8 p.m.
  • Smokehouse performs at the Water Tower Pub. Show time is 8 p.m.
  • Jimmy Bouchard will his the stage at Reggie's Place Tavern at 9 p.m.
  • Mid Life Crisis plays Shooters Lounge starting at 9 p.m. There will also be a St. Patrick's Day themed music video dance party upstairs starting at 10 p.m.
  • Bone Yard celebrates the St. Patrick's Day weekend at Jay's Piston Broke Pub. Music kicks off at 9:30 p.m.
  • Obsession performs at the Esquire Club. Show time is 9:30 p.m.

SATURDAY, MARCH 18

  • Kiwanis hosts its annual pancake breakfast at the Sugar Shack (1100 Fifth Line East) from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
  • The Mill Market will host a Maple Syrup Fest from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Event include maple taffy making, maple treats and more.
  • The CBC Music Jam Squad will host a workshop at the North Branch of the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The 60-minute workshop will help you create music in GarageBand. Registration required. Tablets will be provided. Reserve your spot here.
  • Allan Malenfant, author of Foxy Tales and Adventures on St. Joseph Island, will host a special story time at 10:30 a.m. at the Children's Library in Richards Landing.
  • Streamline Country Performs at the Moose Lodge from 2 to 5 p.m.
  • The Indigenous Friendship Centre presents a Round Dance at the Quattro Hotel from 6 to 11 p.m. Event includes a pipe ceremony, a feast, and more.
  • The Soo Greyhounds face off against the Windsor Spitfires at the GFL Memorial Gardens at 7:07 p.m.
  • Murray and Peter Present WAR on the Catwalk featuring Silky Ganache, Jasmine Kennedie (Season 14 RuPaul’s Drag Race), Jimbo The Drag Clown (Canada’s Drag Race Season 1), Kylie Sonique Love, Heidi N Closet and Gisele Lullaby, Winner of Canada’s Drag Race Season 3. Show time is 8 p.m. at the Sault Community Theatre Centre.
  • Leslie Cook performs at Gateway Casinos SSM from 8 to 11 p.m.

TUESDAY, MARCH 21

  • Chess Club at the North Branch of the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library from 5 to 7:30 p.m. happens every Tuesday until March 28. All ages are welcome and registration is not required.

THURSDAY, MARCH 23

  • Lego My Library happens every Thursday at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Branch Library from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
  • The Moose Lodge hosts a jam night from 7 to 10 p.m.
  • There's a jam night at Jay's Piston Broke Pub from 8 p.m. to midnight.

  • The Great Lakes Outdoor Show happens April 1 and 2 at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre.
  • Canadian comedian Ron James will perform at the Sault Community Theatre Centre on April 2.
  • The New Oxford String Quartet plays The Loft on April 21 and 22.
