  • The Soo Greyhounds face off against the Flint Firebirds at the GFL Memorial Gardens at 7:07 p.m.
  • Greg Callaghan plays a solo acoustic show at The Tap Room at Northern Superior Brewing starting at 8 p.m.
  • The Wyld Stallyns perform at Shooters Lounge starting at 8 p.m.
  • RPM plays Reggie’s Place tavern. Show time is 9 p.m.
  • Sound Check hits the stage at the Esquire Club at 9:30 p.m.
  • Fort Creek returns to Jay’s Piston Broke Pub to perform from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

SATURDAY, JAN. 21

  • The Moose Hall presents Streamline Country from 2 to 5 p.m.
  • The Algoma Conservatory of Music hosts Festival de Musique de Sorel-Tracy gold-medalist Christian Malard at 3 p.m. Proceeds from the performance will go to CNEWA to support the Ukrainian community. Tickets are available online.
  • Al Mooney plays Misty’s Fifties starting at 4 p.m.

  • Round and square dancing featuring music by Don Discher and Lynn Mazzonello happens at the Moose Hall from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

TUESDAY, JAN. 24

  • Chess Club at the North Branch of the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library from 5 to 7:30 p.m. happens every Tuesday from Jan. 10 to March 28. All ages are welcome and registration is not required.

THURSDAY, JAN. 26

  • Lego My Library happens every Thursday at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Branch Library from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
  • The Moose Lodge hosts a jam night from 7 to 10 p.m.
  • An opening reception for Brian Tremblay’s The Neighbourhood - Images, Memories, Music and Stories of Growing Up kicks off at 7 p.m. the Art Hub at Spring (504 Queen St. E.). The evening includes food and refreshments, as well as live entertainment. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at Stone’s Office Supply.
  • There's a jam night at Jay's Piston Broke Pub from 8 p.m. to midnight.
  • Soo Blaster hosts a ”very adult stand-up comedy tour” featuring Darren Frost and Lisa Baker. Show time is 8 p.m. Tickets are available online.
