THURSDAY, MAY 12 - At The Sault Community Theatre Centre at 7 p.m.. Come spend an evening with multi-Platinum, 7 time Juno Award winning artist Colin James and his Blues Trio on a selection of Ontario dates. Enjoy a collection of self-penned works and a vast selection of blues covers, all from a 30 year repertoire.

THURSDAY, MAY 12 - Stories Steeped in Stone continues as we welcome George Houston to the Heritage Discovery Theatre stage located at The Ermatinger National Historic Site, this May 12 at 7 p.m. George has spent most of his life in music and theatre including 25 years as a professional actor and songwriter Seating is limited so get your ticket early. THURSDAY, MAY 12 - Grab your painting clothes and some friends and join us for an evening of creativity, wine, and good company at the Sault Ste. Marie Museum, 6:30 – 9 p.m. (Doors open at 6 p.m.) 690 Queen St. E. at the Sault Ste. Marie Museum main floor Durham gallery. Tickets are $50.

FRIDAY, MAY 13 - What the world needs now is a little more White Cowbell Oklahoma. Described as KISS meets The Allman Brothers meets Frank Zappa meets The Tubes, this stage show of debauchery is described as an absolute killer. Show time at Soo Blaster is 9:30 p.m. to midnight.

SATURDAY, MAY 14 - Sault Ste. Marie Festival of Beer at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre from 1 to 7 p.m. Get your tickets online here

SATURDAY, MAY 14 - BYOBaby Kids Concert at Precious Blood Cathedral at 2:30 p.m. Enjoy a child-friendly concert featuring a variety of music, Q&A session with our musicians, and great opportunities for kids to channel their inner artist. Admission is by donation, no minimum, donate what you can. Be sure to enter through Precious Blood's glass doors, accessed at the rear of the building.

SATURDAY, MAY 14 - Come down to the museum at 1 p.m. and join a workshop that covers the basics of vegetable gardening. This week’s topic is container vs. traditional gardening and how to start and plant your seed.

SATURDAY, MAY 14 - The Sault Ste. Marie Mayor's Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) invites the community to attend MYAC Art, Acoustics and Apps on May 14 at the Ermatinger-Clergue National Historic Site from 2 to 5 p.m. The annual celebration of local youth returns from a two-year hiatus and will feature local youth artists, musicians, mocktails and appetizers. Performers include The Pine Tones, Tianna Legacy and Aric Quan/Deanna St. Germain. Tickets are $20 per person (includes appetizers) with a portion of proceeds going to the Twinkie Foundation and can be purchased online.

SUNDAY, MAY 15 - The Sault Symphony Orchestra is very excited to invite the community to attend its first in-person orchestral concert since the start of the pandemic. Join us at the Bushplane Heritage Centre at 7 p.m. on May 15 for Mozart at the Movies. This concert will feature a variety of favourites from film and television, such as Game of Thrones, Schindler’s List, and Amadeus. Under the direction of the SSO’s new artistic director, Stephen Mallinger, you’ll get to enjoy the beautiful music of the largest ensemble of SSO players since 2020. Tickets are $40 per person and are available online

MONDAY, MAY 16 - Canadian fiddle champions Jane Cory and Kyle Burghout will perform at the AlgomaTrad Centre on Monday, May 16, at 7:30 p.m. Each with many accolades to their credit—Jane a Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Champion, and Kyle a North American Irish Fiddle Champion—they join forces to create innovative arrangements filled with lush twin fiddle harmonies.

THURSDAY, MAY 19 - The Soo Pee Wee Carnival is back. It runs until May 29. Hours: 4 - 9 p.m.

FRIDAY, MAY 20 - The Soo Pee Wee Carnival is back. It runs until May 29. Hours: 2 - 10:30 p.m.

FRIDAY, MAY 20 - An evening with the James Barker Band takes place at 7:30 p.m. at The Sault Community Theatre Centre. General Admission: 49.95 + applicable fees

SATURDAY, MAY 21 - The Soo Pee Wee Carnival is back. It runs until May 29. Hours: Noon - 10:30 p.m.
