What's happening in Alberta House this month

SAULT STE MARIE, MICH. - Alberta House Arts Center will host the Area School Students’ Art Exhibition March 5 through 30, with an open reception on Sunday, March 10, from 2 to 4  p.m. 

The exhibit will contain work from area students in grades K through 12. Always impressive, these student exhibits are also real day brighteners because kids have both an infectious sense of humor and upbeat take on things. 

The folk duo “February Sky”, Phil Cooper and Susan Urban, will give a concert in Alberta House March 24, beginning at 2 p.m. Admission is by donation with all proceeds going to the artists. All are welcome to attend.

Heather Laurence will teach a watercolor class in Alberta House in April. The class will meet in two sessions, April 3 and 10, from 1 to 3 p.m. Class limit is 8. Class fee of  $20 includes both sessions and all supplies. Call Heather at 503-593-3960 to register.

The Alberta House Shop is running a month long March special. Everything in the Alberta House Shop that has some green in it is 20 per cent off. (If the green is minute, you’d better point it out to the volunteer.) Think early spring and St. Paddy’s Day!
