VIDEO: Korah music department sings for this year's grads

SooToday received the video above from Denine Williams, head of the arts department at Korah Collegiate, which celebrates this year's graduating class.

The video was edited by Ryan LaRue and involves the Grade 11/12 vocal class as well as other 2021 graduates, Williams said.

"This year, I chose You'll Never Walk Alone from Carousel," she wrote to us. "The song itself relays a message to everyone of hope, especially during such a time as this past year that everyone experienced. 

"With online teaching, the vocal class pressed on and was able to accomplish something that they will always remember and cherish for years to come.

"As the words resonate - 'Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart and you'll never walk alone. You'll never walk alone'.

"With help from the Korah staff, students were able to keep going and successfully complete their year and graduate!

"Congratulations to all 2021 graduates!"
