Time to get your ticket to Hogwarts

Stop in at Gringotts Wizarding Bank to make a withdrawal of galleons because tickets go on sale for the Canadian Cancer Society’s An Evening at Hogwarts: Chamber of Secrets on Saturday, June 15.

If you’ve always dreamt of receiving your acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Machine Shop you’ll have your opportunity! Witches, wizards, and muggles begin this magical journey at 5 p.m.

The second annual event includes a delicious four-course meal, a Harry Potter themed vendor show in Diagon Alley, a quidditch tournament, and numerous giveaways including your very own wand from Ollivanders.

Start practicing your parseltongue, because this year all class activities and games will follow the Chamber of Secrets theme.

Tickets are available at the Canadian Cancer Society office (390 McNabb St.) as of Saturday, June 15. Doors open at 10 a.m. (cash, credit, or debit) with tickets only available for in person sales. Tickets are $100 per wizard. Children over the age of ten are welcome.

This year, we have a six-ticket limit per person and ask that those purchasing tickets come prepared with the names of each guest in your party. 

Once again, only a limited number of tickets are available. Wizards have their choice of house (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw) on a first come, first served basis. Last year, tickets sold out faster than you could say Wing-GAR-dium Levi-O-sa, so come early to ensure that you don’t miss your opportunity to attend!

All proceeds from this event support the Canadian Cancer Society.
