Three days of theatre begins Friday

For more than a decade, the annual QUONTA One Act Festival Workshop has been offering training to new area theatre directors while refreshing experienced ones. Hosted this year by the Sault Theatre Workshop at the Studio Theatre, 121 Pittsburgh Ave.

For more than a decade, the annual QUONTA One Act Festival Workshop has been offering training to new area theatre directors while refreshing experienced ones.

Hosted this year by the Sault Theatre Workshop at the Studio Theatre, 121 Pittsburgh Ave., the three-day workshop features five one-act plays directed by area theatre personalities, including Harry Houston, Skye Stewart, and Randi Mraud.

The 2014 workshop adjudicator and leader is Richard Howard.

The general public is invited to enjoy all the performances at the Studio Theatre.

Admission is $15 per person per evening.

Audience Participants Passes are available for $20 and include admission to theatre presentations on both evenings and attendance at the daily workshops.

Friday, June 6

Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. of The Open Door, Interviews With Loneliness, and Faith, Hope and Cyanide.

Public adjudication follows the performances with refreshments available.

Saturday, June 7

Refreshments served from 7 to 9:30 a.m.

Workshop sessions, open to all registered participants, run from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. This session will focus on the previous evening's presentations.

Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. of Reflections and What's On Your Mind.

Public adjudication follows the performances with refreshments available.

Sunday, June 8
