Gore Street Cafe is pleased to present The Second Annual Fishbowl Festival of community, food, arts and culture.

The goal of The Fishbowl Festival is to support and promote the development of community led events in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, contributing to the holistic well-being of the city and its citizens.

From Feb. 20 to Mar. 20, more than 20 events will take place as part of the festival in various venues across the city, with Gore Street Cafe at 164 Gore Street acting as the main venue and festival hub.

This year, we see over 20 events planned by a diverse group of individuals, organizations and businesses including:

  • Feb. 20, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Festival opening day in partnership with Sault Ste. Marie Indian Friendship Centre and Youth Odena featuring pay-what-you-can bannock and chili 11 a.m.-1 p.m., kids activities, and opening ceremonies at 2 p.m.
  • Feb. 23, 7-10 p.m. - Winnie B’s Vintage Emporium Fashion Show at Konoba Tapas and Vino (113 Gore Street) music, fun and one Tapa included! Tickets $25. Portion of proceeds go to Alzheimer Society.
  • Mar 3, 9 p.m. - Bill Priddle // Rusty Mccarthy // Sh*t Creek Survivor at Konoba Tapas and Vino (113 Gore Street) $10
  • Mar. 6, 6-10 p.m. - Vinyl Listening Party with DJ Seith
  • Mar. 16, 6-10 p.m. - Songs and Friends songwriting circle presented by Ears and Eyes
  • Mar. 17, 6-9 p.m. - St Patrick’s Day with Selina and Alicia Hunt

For a second year in a row, we are inspired by the response by the community getting involved in The Fishbowl and excited for all the wonderful programming coming up!
