In the meantime, here are a few highlights from the coming weekend:

Sing For Alberta happens at the Bridge View Banquet Hall (formerly the Verdi Hall) on Friday, May 20 at 8 p.m. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross.

The Boothill Crooners return to the Water Tower Pub to perform from 8 p.m. to midnight on Friday, May 20.

Mourning Wood performs at the Esquire Club, 103 Second Line West on Friday and Saturday, May 20 and 21. Show time is 9:30 p.m.

Blessed and Brash Gash perform at the New American Pub on Saturday, May 21 with special guests Telephone and Address starting at 9 p.m.

The Wild Iris plays Loplops, 651 Queen Street East, on Saturday, May 21. Music starts at 10 p.m.
