Poetry is thriving at Bayliss Public Library. There will be three Superior Poetry Café events this fall. The next one will be held on Thursday, September 8 at 7 p.m.

Alex Chornyj, from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, will be the featured poet that evening. He is a reiki master teacher, whose writing reflects the energy and light that surrounds his spirit.

Alex has been writing for about 35 years and his work is widely published internationally. He is a frequent participant in the open mics at the library’s Poetry Cafés.

The public is welcome to bring their poetry, stories, music to perform at the open mic.
