Consisting of band members Craig West, Ed Young and Christopher Walls, Startlefish has been a staple of the local scene this past year. With a new CD being released in about a month's time, Walls departure comes at a critical juncture in the band - but unfortunately the lure of experience calls. Walls will be going to live in Quebec for the summer and this special Downbeat show will be his official goodbye party.

Since Walls joined the band (replacing Mike Robillard in June 2004), he has brought a tremendous amount of energy and virtuoso musicianship to the band. In addition to revitalizing Startlefish in terms of live performance, Wall’s contributions to the new Startlefish CD have also been "invaluable" according to band founder Craig West. The new bass player for the band will be formally announced shortly.

Startlefish varies between light acoustic renditions of their music and full-on rock n' roll depending on the mood of their audience.

The show starts at 10:30 pm. There is no cover charge.
