Indie label Smallman Records is presenting their fourth annual cross-Canada tour featuring Choke, The Reason, Brazil and Ghosts of Modern Man, will be stopping at the Oddfellows Hall for an all ages show on Wednesday, April 13th.

The tour, which is sponsored by Circa, West 49, Exclaim! and MuchMusic.com, is Smallman's most momentous yet, hitting more cities in Canada than ever before.

Headliner Choke is in support of its new album, "Slow Fade Or: How I Learned to Question Infinity," that was released earlier this month. Since their inception in 1994, this Edmonton based band has been a stalwart on the Canadian punk/indie scene. They have toured non-stop in Canada and the USA and have established a reputation for their groundbreaking music and exceptional live shows. With their sixth album in ten years, Choke is truly a mainstay of Canadian punk.

Also featured on this tour is The Reason, whose 2004 release "Ravenna", "bristles and surges with energy, conviction, and an overwhelming sense of purpose," according to Exclaim Magazine. Worthy of this praise, their live show exceeds expectations. The Reason has won Best Punk Recording at the Hamilton Music Awards (their hometown), and is nominated for a Best Metal Album award at CMW 2005.

From beyond the Smallman Records roster is the addition of Fearless Record's Brazil, a six-piece outfit from Indianapolis. Their new album, "A Hostage and the Meaning of Life," melds elements of progressive rock, new wave, and punk. Since 2002, they have toured with My Chemical
Romance, Breaking Pangaea, Hopesfall, Kissing Chaos, and Retisonic.

Regina's Ghosts of Modern Man release their first album with Smallman Records on March 8. "City of No Light," with its musical and lyrical intensity, captures the unbridled energy of their live show. They joined the Smallman Tour just days after Frostbite 2005, furthering their solid reputation initially built on the strength of their live performances.

Performances are scheduled as follows:
10:00 - Choke
9:00 - The Reason
8:00 - Ghost Of Modern Man
7:00 - Brazil

The cost of the show is $10.00 at the door. The Oddfellows Hall is located at 124 Dennis Street.
