MacLachlan celebrates the release of his new album tonight on Lake Superior

Greg MacLachlan is celebrating the release of his new album Not Scared with a special YouTube concert tonight beginning at 7 p.m. The album is being released onto Spotify, Apple Music, and all the major streaming sites Saturday, Aug.1.

Not Scared contains 10 original songs featuring the musical talents of Frank Deresti (bass), Aaron Dunn (Dunner the Drummer), Hollie Filice (keys), Christina Foster (vocals), and Trevor Simpson (mandolin).

Two songs also spotlight the talent of young White Pines singers Hannah Rausch, Allie Bouchard, Hannah Waddell, Brett Bertelson, and Kaytlan Charbonneau. All are all young up and coming vocalists who lend their musical abilities to the album.

The was recorded at Mission Control Studios and produced by Dustin Jones of Tidal Records over the past year. It has been more 10 years since MacLachlan's last release Everyone's Got It Wrong

The concert could be considered part of Jones' "tiny deck" concert series, "but let's call this one a tiny deck concert on steroids."

Tonight's YouTube live stream features many of the musicians listed above and was filmed with Lake Superior as the backdrop at MacLachlan's parents home on Red Pine Drive.
