“Excellent… just the thing for unwinding after a rough day at the office.” - GoldenEye

Loplops Gallery-Lounge, in partnership with the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre, present the seventh edition of the Sault Ste. Marie Festival of Beer. This year’s festival is named ‘Part 007: GoldenEye.P.A.’ and will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 12 to 6 p.m.

Along with the growing popularity of the craft beer industry, the festival continues in its seventh year to introduce new breweries to the community. Craft brewers don’t always have the opportunity to reach far past their geographical boundaries. Breweries like Bayside Brewery, Shawn and Ed’s Brewery, and Frank’s Brewery are examples of up and coming, small community breweries that will be featured at this year’s Festival. Indeed, it is our goal to bring you brews that you might not find on the local shelves.

Favorites from past years will also be on hand. Staples of the Festival of Beer such as Muskoka, McAuslin and Stack Brewery will each return to showcase new products and touch base with their northern fans.

It’s the local breweries though, which are the centrepiece of the festival. OutSpoken Brewery and Northern Superior Brewery are excited to play host to one of the longest standing beer festivals in northern Ontario. They will be welcoming 13 other breweries to our community and will play their part in sharing a piece of what makes Sault Ste. Marie so special.

On hand with great food to pair with your beverages will be J. Caroline’s. New to the downtown, Jane offers progressive comfort food with a northern twist.

From stouts and lagers, to porters and ales, there is something for everyone at this year’s Festival of Beer. Tickets are $25 and available now at Case’s Music, the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre, Loplops Gallery-Lounge and online.

You must be 19 years or older to attend. Please drink responsibly and have a designated driver.
