Break out your bell-bottoms and tie-dye.
A 1970s-themed "Making Waves Cruise" is set to hit to the St. Marys River on Oct. 5, with money raised going to one of four local charities: the Soup Kitchen, Pauline's Place, Women in Crisis or THRIVE.
Cruise-goers — who are encouraged to dress in their best yacht glam/disco outfits — will vote on the charity.
Described as "an evening of glamour and goodwill," the event will begin at Nothern Superior Brewing at 5:30 p.m. before a bus brings people to the Miss Marie Sault Lock Tours dock.
From there, a 2.5-hour trip on the Miss Marie will feature live disco music from The Saturday Nights and food from Bovingdon Barbeque.
After returning to port, event-goers will take a bus trip back to the Tap Room.
Tickets can be purchased here.
