Outspoken Brewing and the Canal District held its first-ever Oktoberfest event Friday evening, bringing party-goers out for beer, German cuisine and live entertainment.
The event sold out in about a week, with a total of 350 tickets sold.
Friday’s event served as a trial run to gauge public interest.
Organizers say they intend to make Oktoberfest an annual event that will grow bigger each year and involve more local businesses.
