Local photo exhibit 'pushes the boundaries of visual expression'

On Wednesday evening, the Art Hub at Spring will host a reception for St. Joseph Island artist Tracy Currie.

The opening for her solo photo art exhibit, Phantasmagoria, runs from 5 to 8 p.m.

"Currie is a photo artist who uses digital manipulation to turn her photographs into stunning and unique artworks," says an announcement promoting the exhibit. "Through a camera lens, Tracy explores her curiosity for the natural world. She pushes the boundaries of visual expression with the use of digital tools. Each art piece starts with a photograph, but through Tracy's creative touch, she transforms them into something truly remarkable. She creates visual experiences that deeply resonate with viewers on an emotional level."
