Marconi Meets World event highlights the Sault's multicultural communities

The Marconi Cultural Event Centre will host a three-day multicultural event this summer called Marconi Meets World.

The event will run from July 21 to 23, and will feature Indigenous arts and cultures, various communities that call Sault Ste. Marie home, and will wrap up with the Italian Festival on the last day.

The Marconi Cultural Event Centre (MCEC) presents Marconi Meets World. This three-day outdoor event takes place at 420 Albert St. W on July 21-23, 2022. In collaboration with Missanabie Cree First Nation, Elettra Marconi Society and G Marconi Society.

MCEC is proud to be adding this diverse celebration to the Jamestown area. With the expansion of its cultural heritage, it welcomes all in the community to attend.

Day one will feature many of the various peoples that call Sault Ste. Marie home. Experience Indigenous arts and culture on day two. With the last day incorporating the long-standing Italian Festival. Food, drink, local and out of town artists, games, local vendors, and kids’ zone will be present throughout the duration.

Passes and vendor information will be announced in the coming weeks as well as entertainment headliners.
