Comedians receive award for contributions to Canadian comedy during WTF Festival luncheon

Royal Canadian Air Farce comedian Luba Goy and Letterkenny star K Trevor Wilson were on hand at The Machine Shop Friday to receive the Dave Broadfoot Award for their contributions to Canadian comedy.

Air Farce alumni Don Ferguson and Jessica Holmes were also at The Machine Shop as part of the Dave Broadfoot Awards luncheon.

The awards luncheon officially kicked off the WTF Festival, which runs June 7-9 and will feature performances from a number of Canadian comedians over the course of the weekend.

The headline show for the inaugural edition of the festival is Russell Peter's Deported Tour, which takes place Friday at the Essar Centre.
