SAULT STE. MARIE, MICH – English crooner Engelbert Humperdinck will bring songs from throughout his career to DreamMakers Theater at Kewadin Casino on Friday, July 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Humperdinck grew to international fame almost instantly after launching his singing career in the 1960s. His first single in the charts, “Release Me,” entered the Guinness Book of Records for achieving 56 consecutive weeks in the charts.

Since then, Engelbert has had 64 albums go gold and 35 go platinum. He also has received a Golden Globe award and been honored with stars on the Hollywood, Las Vegas and Leicester Walks of Fame. His humor and on-stage personality have perpetuated his appeal over 50 years.

“Humperdinck has toured the world to sell-out crowds for decades,” said Russ McKerchie, Kewadin Casinos’ Entertainment Manager. “We are proud to have an entertainer of his caliber perform in Sault Ste. Marie.”

The concert joins a line-up of internationally renowned artists to perform at Kewadin Casino Sault Ste. Marie. In recent months, Kewadin Casino Sault Ste. Upcoming shows include the Demolition Derby Aug. 5 at Kewadin St. Ignace and Josh Turner August 18 at Kewadin St. Ignace.
