Author Tina Petrova (Petrunik) visits the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library

Tina Petrova (Petrunik) will read from her new book Krista-link-a-la and the size 13 Shoes at the Centennial Branch of the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library, 50 East St. on Thursday July 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the children’s area.

Krista-link-a-la and the size 13 Shoes is a "Cinderella tale with a twist," telling the story of a young girl immigrating to Northern Ontario, her big feet, and three wicked stepbrothers.

Replacing the famous glass slipper with size 13 red running shoes makes for a humourous teaching story for all ages.

This book shows children how to turn something challenging, into something to be celebrated.

Tina Petrova (Petrunik) is an award winning actor, director/producer and writer.

Growing up in the Sault on Pentagon blvd., she attended St Bernadette's School and Bawating.

She was an active part of Sault Theatre Workshop.

Tina now resides in Toronto.
