Kip Moore draws a sea of plaid and ponytails (10 photos)

The Nashville star's first-ever Sault performance sells out the Machine Shop

A sold out crowd full of plaid and ponytails crammed the Machine Shop Tuesday night for the first-ever Sault appearance by Nashville’s Kip Moore. The Georgia-born country star welcomed Drake White and The Big Fire, and the Fairground Saints as the evening’s opening acts.

Prior to Moore’s set, the pair of supporting acts came together for an encore that saw Drake White channel his inner Eddie Vedder and climb atop one of the venue’s support beams. This delighted the audience and panicked security staff.

Touring behind his September 2017 release, Slowheart, Moore and his outstanding backing band drew from his three-record catalogue to perform all his fan favourites. Following the show, the star of the night happily met with grateful fans for autographs and photos.

This leg Kip Moore’s Plead the Fifth tour continues Friday with a sold out show in Ottawa before heading to a two-night stint in London, Ont.
