Join BAM! Percussion and the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library for a free creative percussion workshop, Dare to Create!

Using chairs and drumsticks, you’ll play in an active, collaborative, rhythmic choreography that will light up your imagination and leave you in a state of creative alertness. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced at percussion, you’ll find new and fun ways to perform with everyday objects. It’s the perfect, hands-on way to realize that creativity is accessible and a total blast!

BAM! Percussion, based out of Quebec, has toured around the world, captivating audiences with their electrifying performances that blend comedy and drumming virtuosity.

This program takes place on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019 from 10 - 11 a.m., at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library, Program Room – 50 East St.

This is a free program for ages seven years and up, but space is limited to 30 children. To register, or for more information, please contact the Children’s Department at 705-759-5241.
