ST. IGNACE, MICH. – Josh Turner and William Michael Morgan will continue the 2017 Summer Series at Kewadin Casino St. Ignace on Friday, August 18 at 7 p.m. Tickets will be available beginning Friday, May 26, for $22 and $32.50. Multi-platinum MCA Nashville recording artist Josh Turner brings country music to the shores of Lake Huron. Since releasing his platinum-selling debut album in 2003, Turner has won multiple Grammy, CMA and ACM nominations as well as recording “Time is Love,” the most played country song of 2012. In March, Turner released his sixth studio album, “Deep South,” which has been recognized by PEOPLE Magazine and Rolling Stone as a country music staple.

In addition to Josh Turner, up-and-coming Nashville singer William Michael Morgan will perform on August 18. Morgan, a 22-year-old Mississippi native, broke into the country scene at age 18 with his debut single, “I Met a Girl.” and signed his first record and publishing deal before he turned 20. Morgan provides a taste of country music that all audiences will remember.

“Josh Turner’s country music provides the perfect new addition to our 2017 Summer Series,” said Dan Doyle, Kewadin Casinos’ representative. “We anticipate that Morgan and Turner will draw a large crowd.”

The concert is the second of three taking place on the shores of Lake Huron this summer at Kewadin Casino St. Ignace. In recent months, Kewadin Casino Sault Ste. Marie and Kewadin Casino St. Ignace have been the sites of performances by Jeff Carson and Bret Michaels. Additionally, Air Supply, April Wine, and Lita Ford will perform at Kewadin Casinos in June, as Kewadin continues to be a premier entertainment venue in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

“Kewadin Casinos continues to make providing premier concerts and nationally recognized performers a top priority,” Doyle said. “We understand the importance of attracting a broad spectrum of talent to the U.P. Josh Turner consistently entertains audiences across the country, and we’re pleased to have him bring the heart of Nashville to the Upper Peninsula.”

Besides Kewadin Casino St. Ignace, the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians owns and operates casinos in Sault Ste. Marie, Manistique, Christmas and Hessel.

Located in one of the most scenic regions of North America, Kewadin Casinos currently offers 2,031 slot machines, 55 table games, hotels, dining and other amenities at five properties in Michigan’s eastern and central Upper Peninsula.

Owned and operated by the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, Kewadin Casinos are the premier gaming destinations for people who live in and visit the Upper Peninsula, which is bordered on the south by Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, on the west by Wisconsin, and on the north by Lake Superior and Canada.
