Jay Case and Tidal Records are proud to announce the release of Jay's new album titled Foundation.

This new collection of songs captures and embraces moments of Jay’s personal journey, drawing from childhood days to present and reflecting on different places and different moments throughout his life journey. With a combination of personal experience and allegory, Foundation relays familiar emotions and self-reflection through a panorama of sound and prose.

This album was recorded in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. at Mission Control Studios with Dustin Jones and was produced in conjunction with Jay Case, Frank Deresti and Dustin Jones. It was mixed and mastered by Kyle Whittaker at Strange Pumpkin Mixes.

All instruments on the album were performed by Jay, along with guest vocals provided by Frank Deresti, Shannon Moan and Karen Case.

An accompanying music video was created for the second single on the album, Intend To Be. The video was directed by Brendan Garlick and was filmed locally in Sault Ste. Marie and Haviland Bay. You can view it here.

Recently, Laura Conning of Route 26 wrote a review of the new album here.

Jay will be debuting this album at a local CD release party in Sault Ste Marie on Sunday, Dec. 22 at Loplops Gallery and Lounge. Everyone is invited to come out and celebrate this new album release and experience the live performance of these songs along with other music and visit with this local singer/songwriter.
